We are a family business. That is where our roots are, that is where we come from. That is why we take on our responsibility to take
care of our family members, our partners, our customers, the people who use our products and the planet we all share as a home. As
part of our global Viessmann family, we all work towards realizing our company purpose:
To co-create living spaces for generations to come
Our approach to sustainability is manifested in this purpose. We acknowledge our
responsibility to provide people with solutions that reconcile our individual needs
for warmth, cooling, clean air, water and energy in buildings. At the same time, we
know we are at a climate crossroad and that rapid action is needed to stabilize our
climate – and thereby protect our homes. This is why we announced our ambitious
climate strategy 'LEAP to Net Zero'. It builds upon four pillars for action: Lead,
Empower, Advocate and Partner – “LEAP”. Together with our partners and stakeholders, we want to leapfrog, in other words take a giant step forward, towards
reaching net zero in our own operations and the systems that we are a part of.

Sustainable development not only means working towards stabilizing global warming at 1.5°C as declared in the Paris Agreement.
It also calls on us to create a just and fair society for all while respecting all planetary boundaries. This is why - in a next step - we
will work on a sustainability strategy for the whole Viessmann Group. This will enable us to live up even more to our purpose and
build on our past progress from all areas of our business.
This communication explains the sustainability journey of Viessmann Refrigeration
Solutions. As a manufacturer of refrigeration solutions, we co-create safe
environments for sensitive goods, such as food and medicine, and enable operations
which help to provide wellbeing for people. With our full life-cycle support we
contribute to the sustainable future and preserving of our planet as one Viessmann
family.
