How we live diversity and
equality
The Code of Conduct is an important
compass that points all family members
in the right direction. The most important
rules and guidelines for behavior towards
our partners and the public are summarised here.
We want to be a fair and equal society
for the benefit of all of us. We will do this
by growing our respecting human rights,
encouraging diversity, promoting decent
and meaningful work across the value
chain and enabling people to provide
a good life for themselves and their
families.
To review and match up with organisational goals and strategy and review the
commitment, we regularly use the tool of
an 'Organisational Health Check' to reevaluate the organisational elements that
drive performance. Every organisation
within Viessmann Refrigeration Solutions
completes an ‘Organisational Health
Check’ once a year. This is followed by
tailoring new goals with our Board.
Gender diversity
We encourage and give the same chances to all genders to work with us and
join us as a family member. We focus on
gender-neutral job announcements and
fair opportunities for all eligible applications to be reviewed. This means that we
act according to local equality laws and
regulations.
We are proud to have 20% of our first
management level positions filled with
great women.
National diversity
We aim to realise a zero-tolerance
discrimination policy. For example, at
our factory location in Hof in Germany
we have 25 different nationalities in our
Viessmann family. Even our management
teams consist of a great variety of different nationalities.
We believe that different cultural backgrounds bring the immense opportunity of
gathering people together. More diverse
thinking makes it easier to think outside
the box.
It will enable us to think beyond our past
and present and challenge the current
status quo. Diversity is one fundamental
aspect of our developmental culture.
In the event of any discrimination, all
employees have various ways to look for
help and support: Compliance Managers
in Viessmann Group, HR Business Partners, their Direct Manager or the Works
Council are possible contact persons.
In some of our countries where we are
represented, local authorities supervise
socially responsible behaviour, and we
comply with the existing local laws.
